Located in Southeast Texas near Galveston Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, Houston, TX, is the seat of Harris County, and the principal city of the Greater Houston Metropolitan area. It’s the second-most populous city in Texas, and because of its size, numerous school districts serve Houston residents.
