Cypress, TX, is an unincorporated community in Harris County, Texas. It is located along U.S. Highway 290 and is 24 miles Northwest of Downtown Houston. The Cypress urban cluster ranks 50th in the top 100 highest-income urban areas in the United States. It is part of the acclaimed Cy-Fair ISD.
Over the last decade, Cypress has seen a complete transformation! Multiple master-planned communities, such as Bridgeland, Towne Lake and Cypress Creek Lakes have made it one of the most desirable areas in Greater Houston to live. Most communities feature numerous lakes, walking trails, recreation opportunities, and even golf courses!
Shopping options in Cypress are numerous, with the Outlet Mall, Costco, At Home, Lowes, Home Depot, Target and more now located here!
The dining scene has expanded, as well, with numerous retail centers anchoring their locations with such restaurants as Marvino’s, Local Table, Ambriza, Mo’s Irish Pub, and so many more!!
Cypress is also home to The Berry Center, a multi-purpose sports and events complex; Lone Star College Cy-fair (which includes a library); and multiple parks, churches, and community services.
